Every claim that a customer uses a vendor is stored as a piece of evidence, tagged by source. Each source carries a baseline confidence. When multiple independent sources point to the same customer–vendor pair, confidence combines using a noisy-OR model: more corroboration raises confidence, but never above certainty. One strong source already lands high; several weak ones can add up.
Throughout the app, sources are shown as their tier (e.g. "Directly from customer", "Clay") rather than specific document names.
